Louis Mongi was installed as president of the AMVETS Post 83 Home Association, Lansford, during an installation ceremony held last evening in the post home. About 30 guests were in attendance for the event.

Mongi succeeds Nick Perbetsky Jr. as head of the association.

Also installed were Perbetsky, vice president; Francis Mongi, financial secretary; Joseph Modrick, treasurer; Alfred Baldwin, secretary; George Lukca and Frederica Winkler, auditors; and Chester Trojan, Elizabeth Hruska and John Kupec, trustees.

Charles Horowski served as the installing officer.
