The Palmerton boys gained an overtime victory over Nazareth on Saturday.
Other area boys teams to gain wins over the weekend were Marian, Tamaqua and Weatherly.

Kody Kratzer scored eight of his game-high 25 points in overtime to help Palmerton pull out a 61-60 non-league win over Nazareth.
Justin Hosier finished with 19 points for the Blue Bombers (3-2), who held a 12-point lead at halftime.
Zach Umar paced the Blue Eagles (1-6) with 19 points, while Anthony Harris added 13.

Chase Mazalusky and Shane Miller both finished with 14 points for the Golden Bears.

Tamaqua raced to a big lead before cruising to a 71-53 non-league victory over Nativity.
The Blue Raiders’ Brayden Knoblauch led all scorers with 24 points, while Lucas Gregoire finished with 18. Tamaqua, which tallied 25 points in the opening quarter, also received 14 points from Barron Stauffenberg.
Kegan Hertz led the Hilltoppers with 16 points.
The win upped Tamaqua’s record to 6-1.

Pottsville used a strong third quarter to help pull away from Northwestern and earn a 45-29 non-league win.
Derek Hebelka had seven points to pace the Tigers (3-4).
The Tide, who outscored Northwestern by an 18-7 margin in the third frame to extend a five-point lead, received a game-high 14 points from Mason Barnes.
