The annual report of the Carbon County Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service shows that it processed a total of $131,807.83 during 1966.

Programs and corresponding amounts spent are: Agricultural Conservation Program, $10,855.88; Wool Incentive Program, $335.77; Appalachian Land Stabilization and Conservation, $16,000; Cropland Adjustment Program, $13,763.06; Soil Bank, $21,047.12; Wheat Program, $20,362; Feed Grain Program, $68,344.

The report was released by Mrs. Marjorie Solomon, office manager, and Josiah W.H. Behrens, Penn Forest Township, a member of the committee. Andrew Bolish, Weatherly R.1, served as its chairman.
