Several people were injured Friday afternoon when involved in an accident along Route 309 in West Penn Township.
The crash occurred around 2 p.m. in the southbound lanes.
It appeared the driver of a southbound Jeep Grand Cherokee was south bound and stopped in the passing lane to make a left turn onto a private lot when it was rear ended by southbound car. Several ambulances and paramedic units are on scene treating the injured.
