State police at Frackville are investigating the theft of a large amount of cash from a vehicle.

Troopers said the incident occurred along Arch St., in Ringtown.An unlocked vehicle was entered sometime between 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 8, and 10 a.m. on Monday, and taken was $1,000 and a revolver.Troopers did not identify the victim but said several leads are being investigated.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at (570) 874-5300.
