The Schuylkill County Employees Retirement Board continues to increase its market value as it reached a new high as of Wednesday.

The market value was reported at $110,319,590 by Controller Cristy Joy, who serves as its secretary. His report was made at the monthly meeting held Wednesday at the courthouse in Pottsville.Joy reported during the month of June two members received an annuity totaling $397,840.34; five members received a refund totaling $1,318.09; six members received rollovers totaling $12,472.22; and three members received pro rata pensions totaling $447.46.Members of the board are Commissioners Frank Staudenmeier, George Halcovage, and Gary Hess, Treasurer Jacqueline McGoven, and Joy.
