The Pennsylvania Power and Light Company yesterday presented a Porter, standard-gauge steam locomotive to the Carbon County Tourist Promotion Agency for future use inn tourist promotional planning.

Mrs. Agnes McCartney, director of the tourist agency, said the fireless-type locomotive, in good running condition, was once used to shuttle coal gondolas and ash residue from the now dormant Hauto Power Plant.

The locomotive will eventually find its way to Lansford, where it is expected to be placed somewhere near the old No. 7 Lehigh Coal and Navigation office near the Edgemont section of the community.
