Mary K. James, 57, of Kunkletown, was charged by state police at the Stroudsburg barracks with failure to provide immediate notice of accident to a police department after an incident at 10:45 p.m. Dec. 23 on Meadow Lake Road in Hamilton Township.

Police said she was driving a 2016 Honda Pilot west when she failed to maintain control of the vehicle and it left the travel lane and proceeded off the embankment and rolled.

The car came to rest facing north and sustained disabling damages that required it to be towed from the scene. Police said James left the scene but was eventually located. They said she sustained suspected minor injuries.
