The Lewis Flexer family, 106 Oak St., took first prize in the first Christmas decorating contest sponsored by the Parryville Concerned Citizens Group.

The top prize of $30 was presented to Marian and Lewis Flexer last night during a meeting of the sponsorship group.

The second prize of $20 went to the Lamar Freeby home, Second Street, while the third place award was presented to Mrs. Alverta Hoppel, 407 Center St.

Robert Koch, president of the committee, made the presentation.

The judging was done this week by a panel consisting of Lehighton Mayor Wilbur Bauchspies, Mrs. Ernest Kreidler of Lehighton and Miss Debbie Dotter of Albrightsville.
