I saw in the paper the council is looking into parking spaces in front of homes for the homeowner.
My opinion, it’s just a way to get more money out of residents.
You’d have to paint the space (that costs), You’d have to put a sticker on the car and know its plate number (that costs).
What if someone else parked there and got a ticket? That would bring hard feelings between neighbors.
What if there were caregivers that had to park close?
I see more problems then help.
Don’t forget street cleaning and alternate side parking for snow removal.
