Children’s party

The Diligent Fire Company, Centre Avenue, Jim Thorpe, will hold its annual Christmas party for children.

It will take place on Saturday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the company headquarters.

Due to the COVID-19 virus, this will again be a drive-thru event. Please do not get out of your vehicle.

Santa Claus will be there to greet the children and take their Christmas wish letters.

However, for the safety of all, there will be no other contact with him.

Everyone should be wearing a mask.

When entering the event please use School Alley to the rear of the company.

Class breakfast

Members of the 1967 graduating class of Jim Thorpe High School will meet for breakfast on Dec. 21 at 10 a.m. at the Boulevard Restaurant, Route 443, Lehighton.
