At 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, emergency crews from Nesquehoning were dispatched to a crash on the Wash Shanty Hill, Route 209. One person escaped serious injury after rolling multiple times and then coming to rest on its roof. One person was transported to a local hospital by Lehighton ALS.
