Senior students Zach Confer and Danielle McArdle were looking for a meaningful experience for their required Senior Project at Jim Thorpe Area High School, and a way to honor in memory of their friend Hunter K. Wolfe of Jim Thorpe.

In this season of gift giving, they organized "Hunter's Hope Toy Drive" in memory of Hunter, who lost his battle with leukemia in July.The two students visited schools in the Jim Thorpe area, asking each student to bring in one unwrapped toy.With the assistance of Hunter's mom, Kim Sargent and social worker, Robin Capecci at St Christopher's Hospital, they organized the delivery of Christmas cheer to the Oncology patients at St. Christopher's Hospital.Zach and Danielle traveled to St. Christopher's Hospital in Philadelphia on December 12th and had the opportunity to deliver two truckloads of toys and visit with the children.Hunter's Hope Toy Drive was a huge success thanks to this project and through the generosity of area students and businesses.Zach and Danielle were happy to keep Hunter's spirit and memory alive this holiday season.
