State police at Fern Ridge reported on the following crashes:

• A one-vehicle crash occurred at 1:35 a.m. on Nov. 28 along Merwinsburg Road in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County. Troopers said Jonathan M. Bentley, 19, of Effort, was driving a 2017 Toyota Camry on a snow-covered road. He lost control of the vehicle on a curve, which went onto the right berm and struck guide rails and became submerged in a creek.

Bentley was not injured.

• Another one-vehicle crash was reported at 12:46 a.m. on Nov. 28 along Interstate 80 in Kidder Township, Carbon County. Troopers said Penny A. Kolk, 44, of Millville, Columbia County, was westbound and negotiating a right curve in the road. The vehicle went onto the left berm and struck guide rails.

Kolk and a passenger, a 1-year-old boy, were not injured. The vehicle had to be towed.

She was cited for the crash.
