The body of Cpl. John Madock, son of Mrs. Ann Madock, New Columbus, arrived at the Lehigh Valley Station, East Mauch Chunk, this morning at 11 o'clock. It was met by an honor guard and escorted to the Madock house. Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 1:45 p.m. at the home and at St. John the Baptist Russian Orthodox Church at 2 o'clock. Burial will be made in the parish cemetery. Cpl. Madock lost his life while serving with the U.S. Army in North Africa on Feb. 12, 1943.
