Divers of the Lehighton Fire Department Dive Team assisted Lehighton police in retrieving motorcycle parts from the Lehigh River Sunday afternoon.

Earlier in the day a person notified the Carbon County Communications Center of spotting motorcycle parts in the river along the west bank between the McCall and Weissport bridges.

Divers were able to scour the bottom of the river finding numerous parts.

Lehighton police took the parts as evidence seeking the owner of the bike.
