Nick Hawkey of Little Gap, 83-year-old United States Marine Corps veteran, created the most unusual entry at Saturday’s fundraiser in Hometown - The Janet Weis Children’s Hospital Christmas Toy Drive and Trunk & Treat Camps4Vets and Disabled Children Benefit. Hawkey’s Dung Hill Cemetery procession included an authentic casket washed out from the Forty Fort Cemetery during the Hurricane Agnes “Great Flood of ‘72” in Wilkes-Barre.
