A Summit Hill woman who has a long record of volunteering for her church, community and Carbon County was the toast of the town Tuesday night during the 45th annual banquet of the Panther Valley Irish-American Association.

Mrs. Margaret M. Kozuch, 113 E. White St., received the association's 31st Shamrock Award from association President Bill Kennedy of Hometown during a program held at the AMVETS Post 83 Home, Lansford.
