November 7, 1986 — A combined sack by B.J. Nalesnik and Frank Hoffman on the final play of the game preserves Palmerton’s 12-7 Colonial League victory over rival Northern Lehigh. The Bulldogs had driven to the Bombers’ 14-yard line before an incomplete pass and two sacks end the contest. Nalesnik scores a first-quarter touchdown on a 1-yard run, while teammate Jamie Tracy also reaches the end zone from two yards out. A 56-yard run by Jay Zelinsky sets up the one Palmerton score. Tracy finishes with a game-high 92 yards rushing.
