State police at Schuylkill Haven reported on the following incidents:

• On Sept. 10 at 12:04 p.m. troopers conducted a traffic stop along Route 61 at East Adamsdale Road, in North Manheim Township, of a 2004 Toyota van with trailer. The driver, identified as John Butler, 44, of Philadelphia, was found in possession of controlled substances and drug paraphernalia.

• Police were summoned at 1:22 p.m. Sept. 27 to a home along Village Road in West Brunswick Township to investigate an identity theft/theft by deception case.

Police said the victim, a 41-year-old woman from Orwigsburg, reported to them someone used her identity to file for unemployment benefits.

• Heather Tobias, 31, of Branchdale, was arrested on drug possession charges after she was stopped while driving a vehicle at 9:20 p.m. Sept. 5 on the Claude A. Lord Boulevard in Pottsville.

Police said she was stopped while driving a 2000 Chrysler and found to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

The woman also had an outstanding warrant out in Schuylkill County.
