The second annual Bark For Life fundraising event will be held this Saturday, May 4, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Locust Lake State Park in Barnesville. Organizers stated there will be food available for sale, a dog sled team, and dog activities and contests such as talent, best dressed, and best kisser. T-shirts and luminary bags, which may be purchased in honor or in memory of a loved one, will also be sold. The event is open to the public and pre-registration is not required.
