Bethany EC Church, 222 North St. holds Sunday worship at 10:45 a.m. with the Rev. Timothy Ream, pastor.

Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m. with classes for all ages; fellowship time 10:15-10:45 a.m. At 10:45 a.m., first responders special service and lunch in their honor. As part of the service, a prayer of blessing will be given in their honor and for the safety of their vehicles. This service of blessing is open to all local first responders and their families. Crossroads Community Church

Crossroads Community Church, 580 Coal St., holds Sunday worship service with Pastor Kevin McGraw. It is a place for a fresh start with God.

Adult Sunday school at 9:30 a.m.; contemporary worship service at 10:30 a.m. with nursery available; children’s Sunday school at 11 a.m.; fellowship following service.

Thanksgiving Blessing: The church is collecting nonperishable items until Nov. 24 to benefit the local food pantry.

Midweek Bible study: Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. Currently studying the book of Revelation.

Men’s fellowship breakfast: First Saturday of each month at 8:30 a.m.

Women’s fellowship breakfast: Third Saturday of each month at 9 a.m.

Trinity highlights

Sunday worship with Holy Communion at Trinity Lutheran Church, 175 S. Third St., begins at 9:30 a.m. Gluten-free wafers are available for those with allergy issues. The Rev. Nancy Moore presides. Vicar Joshua Krenz assists. Coffeehouse fellowship follows.

Sunday church school for students ages 3 through sixth grade is at 10:45 a.m. Rehearsals begin for the annual program to be presented during worship Dec. 8.

Students in grades 5-12 are invited to participate in food, conversation and youth group activities from 5-7 p.m. Sunday at the second floor youth room. Vicar Joshua Krenz is the youth adviser.

Trinity and Thrivent Member Network are joining in the collection of pop tabs from soft drink or soup containers. The collection benefits Ronald McDonald House Charities. A box is available in the narthex or tabs may be dropped off at the church office during the week.

Pastor Moore will share information for those desiring to seek membership at Trinity Sunday at 1 p.m. Appointments may be arranged by contacting the church office to plan a baptism date. Please contact the church office in advance at 610-377-4303 to register.

The sanctuary choir and guests with accompaniment of full orchestra and harp presents “A Celebration of Carols” by Joseph Martin. Date: 3 p.m. Nov. 30. Susan Lovejoy is the musical director. Everyone is welcome to attend this free event.
