Lansford Borough Council filled several board vacancies during last Wednesday's meeting.

Robert Lakata and Joseph Gallagher were appointed to the Coaldale-Lansford Joint Water Authority.Mary Jo Eidle will now serve on the Lansford Park & Recreation Board.Donna Valent was named to the Zoning Hearing Board and Steven Foster was appointed to the Civil Service Commission.Council is still looking for people to fill the following vacancies: two alternates on the zoning/hearing; and one seat each on the Park & Recreation Board, Planning Commission and Vacancy Board.All of these positions are volunteer.
