A truck driver escaped injury Thursday morning when he involved in a crash in Nesquehoning. The incident occurred around 9:15 a.m. as the driver was traveling south on Route 93. He apparently lost his brakes coming down the Broad Mountain but failed to drive onto the truck runaway ramp. He continued down the roadway, failing to stop at the stop sign. He continued going across Route 209 and drove up a private driveway. Nesquehoning police are investigating the incident assisted by state police troopers from Hazleton.
