Michelle Arrigo of Brodheadsville presented research at the 10th annual Susquehanna Valley Undergraduate Research Symposium. This year the symposium was held virtually.
Arrigo’s research, conducted with Jennifer L. Carter, titled Developing Computational Models for Exoplanet Visibility and Luminosity in MATLAB, won the Best Poster in the Engineering, Computer Sciences and Natural Sciences category.
Arrigo is a physics and biochemistry major in the Class of 2022.
The symposium allows students from across central Pennsylvania to share presentations on research from a variety of disciplines. The event is sponsored by Bloomsburg University, Bucknell Institute for Public Policy, Geisinger Health System and Susquehanna University.
