Pleasant Valley Athletic Director Tom Toth announced Wednesday that the Bears’ season-opener against Parkland scheduled for this Friday was postponed due to a positive COVID case within the school’s JV/Varsity football team.

There is no makeup date at this time.

“There are a lot of variables that will go into attempting to reschedule and we will weigh all of them. I will have more information in the next day or so,” Toth said in an email.
