It's pretty bad when students are wishing for school.
But this winter has caused a lot of headaches in the form of school closures that are delaying the end of the school year.Today seemed to be no different as meteorologists were forecasting nearly six inches of snow to fall late last night and this morning.Because of this, many schools closed, including Carbon Career & Technical Institute, Jim Thorpe, Lehighton, Palmerton, Panther Valley, St. John Neumann, St. Joseph Regional, Our Lady of the Angels Academy and Pleasant Valley.A few schools decided to wait and are currently on a two-hour delay. They include Northern Lehigh, Northwestern Lehigh, Tamaqua, St. Jerome Regional and Weatherly.
