The Tamaqua Area School District will have registration for drug testing, per school district policy, on the following dates:
• Wednesday, July 14 - 8-11 a.m.
• Wednesday, July 21 - 8-11 a.m.
Registration will take place in the Athletic Center.
As per the policy, any student in grades 7-12 who intends to participate in any athletic activity, non-athletic club or organization and any student who applies to park on school property will be subject to an initial random drug test. Additionally, any non-participant, whose parent requests voluntary testing, will be eligible to participate in the random testing program.
Testing will occur randomly on the testing dates. Students need to provide a signed parent consent form before participating which can be found on the school district website at this link:

Any student who cannot attend either of the dates provided should contact Mike Hromyak, Athletic Director at mhromyak@tamaquasd.org for other arrangements. Becoming part of the random selection process is necessary before participating in any activities.
