A Jim Thorpe attorney will lead the Carbon County United Way campaign for 2003.
Attorney Michael Muffley, who maintains his law practice at 26 W. Broadway, was recently named chairman of the giving campaign.
In addition to his private practice that covers a full spectrum of law, Muffley is also an assistant district attorney in Carbon County. He hopes to focus his private practice work on elder law, noting he aspires to “help the elderly find security and peace in their final years.”
Muffley is a graduate of Palmerton Area High School, the University of Pittsburgh and Widener School of Law, Harrisburg. The UW chairman lives in Towamensing Township.
