Monroe County Republican Women will host an international forum, “Understanding the American Promise,” from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday at Chestnuthill Township/West End Park Community Building, 221 Route 715, Brodheadsville.

Monroe County GOP women and men are invited to attend this meeting.

The panel of presenters will share their story of choosing to come to the United States and the path that brought them to joining the Republican Party: Agnes Marocchi, from Kenya, East Africa; Beata Malec, from Poland; Marek Chilinski, from Poland; Larry Snoodee, from Trinidad and Tobago; Dulce Ridder, from Honduras; Dr. Nche Zama, from Cameroon; and Robert Carvell, from England.

Sandwiches and light refreshment will be provided - no charge to attend, but donations to help with cost are appreciated.
