The Weatherly Area School Board approved the following spring sports coaching hirings at its meeting on Wednesday:

• William Bartel, varsity softball head coach with a stipend of $4,800

• Michael Baran, varsity baseball coach with a stipend of $4,800

• Ryan Kately, assistant softball coach with a stipend of $1,800

• Brian Rabasky, assistant baseball coach with a stipend of $1,800

• Paul Schertrumpf, head track and field coach with a stipend of $1,850

• Desiree Furmanchin - assistant track and field coach with a stipend of $925
