Schuylkill County Administrator Gary Bender said commissioners could hire a public works director at Wednesday’s meeting.

Five candidates submitted resumes for the position held by Paul Fetterolf, who is retiring June 30. Three were interviewed for the opening, he said.

Fetterolf has been with the county since May 2012.
