Basket raffle

A Basket raffle/chance Auction fundraiser in Memory of Scott Allen will be held Sunday at 10 a.m. at Don Laine Campground, 790 57 Drive, Palmerton.

Zinc City

Zinc City Cycle Club, 10485 Interchange Road, Kresgeville will hold Drag Races on Saturday from 3-9 p.m.

JUCC

Jerusalem United Church of Christ, 545 Church Drive, Palmerton (Trachsville) will hold Sunday worship service at 9 a.m. Weather permitting, services will be held in the church grove. Bring your lawn chair. You can also remain in your vehicle and park in the grove and listen on 95.5 FM. Services can also be seen on Facebook Live and the church website.

Supply Pastor Don Quayle will lead the worship.

Member donations for the upcoming flea market may be brought to the church through Friday and to the grove June 7 through June 9 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Setup will be June 7 through June 10 starting at 9 a.m. All help will be greatly appreciated. Donations of baked goods to sell by the piece at the refreshment stand will be welcomed.

The flea market is scheduled for June 11 and 12.

Community meal

A free community meal will be held at St. John’s UCC, 891 Columbia Ave., Palmerton on June 8 from 4-6:30 p.m. The menu will be sausage, oven-browned potatoes, and baked beans. The meal is takeout only.
