Sacred Heart Parish, Lafayette Avenue, Palmerton will celebrate our Saturday Vigil Mass on May 29 at 5 p.m. and Sunday Liturgy at 9:30 a.m. May 30. Please Note: Seating restrictions have been lifted.
Tape has been removed from pews to allow seating anywhere in the church, including the cry room.
Masks are only required of those who are not fully vaccinated. “Fully vaccinated” is defined as being two weeks after receiving the final dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Confessions continue to be available by appointment only. Please call Father Bill to schedule a time.
This weekend we celebrate the Feast of the Holy Trinity in which we affirm there is but one God in three Divine person: The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. Through baptism all people are called to share in the divine life of our Triune God.
The second offering this week is to assist in the maintenance of our three parish cemeteries.
May 31, Memorial Day Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. and all parishioners and friends are encouraged to join us as we prayerfully remember our deceased loved ones and especially are deceased veterans. The Rectory Office will be closed Monday in observance of the holiday and will reopen on Tuesday.
End of the school year confessions for St. John Neumann students are scheduled for June 1 at 10 a.m. Registrations for the 2021-22 school year are now being accepted. For more information, please call the school office at 610-826-2354.
June 4 is the first Friday of the month. Mass is at noon followed by Eucharistic Adoration until 3 p.m. when we close with midday prayer. This year has been dedicated to Eucharistic Renewal as we celebrate our 60th anniversary of the Diocese of Allentown.

St. John Neumann eighth-grade graduation will be celebrated June 9 at 6 p.m. Father Campion is the Celebrant and Father Sedar the Homilist. Kindergarten advancement will be held virtually on June 10.
