Lansford pool and park goers now have another amenity at the facility.

On Thursday, American Legion Post 123 in Lansford donated a commercial grade LP gas grill to the Lansford Recreation Commission to be used during special events, parties and more.

The grill, which can hold more than 80 hot dogs or 40 hamburgers at one time, is mobile so it can be moved into the concession stand, under the pavilion or in the pool area.

Tom Evans, president of the Parks and Recreation Commission, accepted the grill that was presented on behalf of the Legion by post Commander Bill Coll.
