The Northern Valley Chargers posted a victory in Lehigh Valley Connie Mack action on Monday.

The Northern Valley Chargers surged ahead with three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to top Palmer Township 3-2 in a Lehigh Valley Connie Mack contest.

Zach Russo had two RBIs for the Chargers, as Bobby Croneberger and Wesley George scored on an error to tie it at 2-2. John Meltsch scored on another error for the game-winner. Croneberger, George and Meltsch all had singles to start the rally.

Sam Mauro had a double, and Josh Lichman also had a hit. Croneberger allowed five hits and two walks, striking out three, in a complete-game effort to earn the win on the mound.

Keystone Orioles

The Keystone Precision Orioles remained undefeated with a 4-1 win over the Berlinsville Braves in Blue Mountain League action.

Zach Delp was 2-for-3 with a solo home run in the fifth inning for the Orioles (3-0). Delp also added a double, drove in two and scored twice. Pat Bet finished with two hits, and Robbie Lamm and Ian Csensits both tripled and drew a walk.

Northwestern graduate Jake Augustus had a double, run scored and stole a base for the Braves (0-3).

Matt Ervolina and Kyle Buchman both had hits and drew walks.
