The Pennsylvania State Police at Hazleton are actively investigating the death of two people whose bodies were discovered just after 7 p.m. Saturday in a wooded area off Eckley Road, near North Buck Mountain Road, Lausanne Township in Carbon County.

The two victims, who police referred to as “presumably male and female” are unidentified at this time.
