Nesquehoning residents will soon be getting a subscription notice for the borough’s ALS provider.

On Wednesday, Councilwoman Rosemary Porembo said that the Nesquehoning Ambulance subscriptions expire on May 31 and that Lehighton Ambulance subscription notices will be sent out in mid-April.

She noted that there are discounts for active firefighters of $5 per family.

On Dec. 23, Nesquehoning Ambulance disbanded as the borough’s BLS provider due to dwindling volunteers who are certified as EMTs.
