To the Editor:

I write to encourage my neighbors in Bowmanstown to vote on May 18 in the primary election and, when they do, I encourage them to add better choices to the list of candidates for November’s general election. That’s why I recommend writing in Norman A. Engle Jr. for mayor and Ben C. Powell for borough council. This recommendation is for Democrats and Republicans.

If you don’t want the same hand-picked slate of borough officers currently shaping our local government and community to their personal liking, my recommendation is that you write-in these two names - Norman A. Engle Jr. for mayor and Ben C. Powell for borough council. Vote for your community’s future!
