Lansford Borough Council President Masha Krajcirik, who will be retiring in January after having served the borough for 16 years, was honored at a party held at Sisko’s Bar in Lansford.

All seven borough council members, Mayor Dr. John Polumbo, solicitor William McDonald and Secretary-Treasurer Bernadine Hook gathered to “roast” the four-term council member.

Mrs. Krajcirik received a plaque, banner, a dozen long-stemmed red roses and various gifts in appreciation of her long-standing commitment to the community.

Joining her at the event was her husband, William.
