State police at Fern Ridge are investigating the theft of unemployment benefits.

It happened between 8 a.m. March 20 and 4 p.m. April 17. The 31-year-old victim lives along Hill Road in Chestnuthill Township.

Police said someone obtained personal information of the victim and rerouted her unemployment benefits to another account.
