Spring Road in Lower Towamensing Township is closed after a large tree fell across the roadway Saturday morning. The incident occurred at 10 a.m. Saturday in the 300 block about a half mile north of Hemlock Street. Members of the Aquashicola Fire Company blocked off the road waiting for utility crews to arrive.
