Carolyn Carter was installed as president of the Black Diamond Lodge No. 269, Ladies Auxiliary to the Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen and Engineers at the annual reorganizational meeting Monday night in the Eagles Building, Jim Thorpe.

Other officers seated at that time were Dorothy Yale, vice president; Hannah Hontz, secretary; Emily Dunstan, treasurer; Ruth Beers, collector; Irene Parliman, Edith Sheridan and Susan Decker, trustees; Sheridan, chaplain; Christian Martienssen, flag bearer; Mabel; Knappenberger, inner guard; and Bertha O’Neil, outer guard.
