State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating the report theft of guns from a Schuylkill residence.

The burglary occurred at a residence along West Main Street in Hegins Township. The resident said the break-in occurred on April 9 between 6 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Removed from the home were two pistols and an unknown rifle or shotgun. Also taken was a bayonet and an unknown quantity of ammunition.
