Rush-Ryan Seniors

The Rush-Ryan-Delano Senior Citizens met April 13 at Christ Church, Barnesville, with 52 members in attendance. The president opened the meeting with the reading “Love & Joy” followed by the Lord’s Prayer, Pledge of Allegiance and singing “God Bless America.”

Edna Fegley, Grace Sakusky and Dolores Walck were added to the sick list. New members Brenda Zeller and Peggy Bray were given a warm welcome. April birthdays were celebrated for Paul Randig, Brenda Zeller and Gladys Arner.

The next meeting will be held April 27. The group meets the second and fourth Tuesday of every month at Christ Church, Barnesville, at 1 p.m. and is open to anyone 55 or older.

Zion Lewistown Valley

Pastor Jim Williams will officiate at the 10:30 a.m. service this Sunday at Zion Church, Lewistown Valley. Masks are required.

Calvary Lewistown

Pastor Ralph Saunders will officiate at the 10:25 a.m. worship service this Sunday in Calvary Evangelical United Methodist Church, Lewistown Valley. Sunday school classes are scheduled at 9:15 a.m. and evening praise and sharing at 6:30 p.m. Call 570-668-9111 for more information.

Bethany EC

The Rev. Kevin Roberts will officiate at the 8, 9:30 and 11 a.m. worship services this Sunday in Bethany Evangelical Congregational Church. The 11 a.m. service will also be available on the church’s Facebook page. Also on Sunday, Local Outreach and Operations Commission meetings will be held at noon as well as Scenic Sunday at the Lehigh Canal, Weissport, at 2 p.m.

Activities scheduled for the week include: Lunchtime Live with the Rev. Roberts, 12:30-12:45 on Facebook, Monday-Friday; April 20, work night at 5:30 p.m.; April 21, TYM Remix at 6:30 p.m. and worship practice at 7:45 p.m.; April 22, Common Ground at 6:30 p.m.; April 23, Here and Now at 5 p.m., Bible Study at 7 p.m.
