An unknown amount of jewelry was taken in a Schuylkill County burglary.

State police at Frackville said the break-in occurred at a residence along Hillside Drive, Barnesville, in Ryan Township. The home was entered and ransacked sometime between 2 and 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
