Four people were cited for not obtaining moving permits following a report of an altercation involving a knife at an apartment building in Nesquehoning that has been the location of a number of incidents recently.

Nesquehoning police cited Jeffrey Fisher, Ryan Nelson, Elena Weaver and Donald R. Conklin IV, all tenants in the apartments on the 100 block of West Catawissa Street, on July 24 for not having moving permits into the borough after police were notified of a fight a few days earlier.

The owner of the building, attorney James McNamara of Bloomsburg, was also cited for not following up with the tenants to make sure they had secured a moving permit when moving into the building.
