A Schuylkill County man is facing charges following an incident that occurred at 6:56 p.m. Oct. 6.

State police at Frackville said troopers responded to Big Mine Run Road in Butler Township for a report of a physical altercation between a girlfriend and boyfriend. Troopers learned that Jorge Henriquez, 22, of Ashland struck a woman in the face several times following a domestic dispute.

Henriquez has been charged with simple assault.
