The Jim Thorpe boys’ tennis team picked up a tough win against Palmerton on Tuesday.

Jim Thorpe edged Palmerton, 3-2.
Connor Rodgers and Daniel Teets earned victories in singles’ competition for the Olympians. Michael Carroll and Samuel Seachrest also grabbed a win in doubles’ competition, prevailing in a third-set tiebreaker.
Nolan Walters was victorious in his No. 3 singles’ match for the Bombers, winning in three sets.

Connor Rodgers (JT) def. Hunter Connell 6-1, 6-3; Daniel Teets (JT) def. Madison Balliet 6-1, 6-0; Nolan Walters (P) def. Brendan McDermott 2-6, 6-4, 6-4.
DOUBLES
Michael Carroll/Samuel Seachrest (JT) def. Brayden Kline/Logan Connelly 6-1, 4-6, 7-6 (7-5); Palmerton won the second doubles’ match by forfeit.

Stroudsburg
Stroudsburg swept Pleasant Valley 5-0 in an Eastern Pennsylvania Conference match.
John Willis, Jackson Kozma and Luke Torres earned singles’ wins for the Mounties (4-0). Noah Dickson and Jarred Ruhl, and Matt Lipitz and Jose Gomez combined take both doubles’ matches for Stroudsburg.
