Vistage, CEO coaching and peer advisory organization for small and midsize businesses, announced John Faust is the recipient of the Vistage Leadership Award for the Southcentral Region.
The Leadership Award celebrates a member’s enduring excellence in leadership, recognizing the discernible impact they’ve had on their business, Vistage group and community.
Faust, a native and resident of Summit Hill, is the president and CEO of Diamond Credit Union, a Pennsylvania state-chartered and federally insured credit union serving Berks County and the Tri-County Region since 1947.
Over the nine years that Faust has been a Vistage member, Diamond’s assets grew 116%, membership grew 61% and employees grew 68%. They added five new branches, and recent strategic plans have included conversion to a state-of the-art core data processing system and lending system, realignment of the organization’s staff structure, and partnership with an innovative digital technology organization creating the ability to further grow the credit union’s reach digitally and to establish the ability to utilize data analytics. Diamond’s headquarters is in Pottstown.
“I am humbled and honored to receive the 2021 Leadership Award,” said Faust. “To have been nominated by my fellow Vistage CEO peer group members and Joni Naugle, Vistage master chair and to receive such recognition from a prestigious organization as Vistage is one of the highlights of my career.”
“John has been a stellar member since joining Vistage,” said Naugle.
“His insight brings great value to the other group members. He is always open to new ideas, willingly shares his knowledge, challenges others and brings his sense of humor just when we need it most. Working with him as his Vistage chair is a true privilege and delight.”
